Exclusive Rights Agreement
Date: EFFECTIVE DATE
SOUND STREETS (hereinafter referred to as “THE AUTHOR”) and (Artist/Individual) BUYER NAME (hereinafter referred to as “Recipient”), in accordance with the terms set forth in this agreement, hereby grant the Buyer/Recipient exclusive rights to use the beat produced by Sound Streets titled “BEAT NAME.”
The Recipient holds exclusive, transferable rights for the use of the music, provided that additional audio/vocals are added to the musical compositions (hereinafter referred to as “the Synchronization”). The Recipient has the right to perform and distribute the Synchronization without limitation.
This is a one-time exclusive rights agreement and includes the following clauses, benefits, and restrictions.
Clauses
“THE AUTHOR” assigns to the “RECIPIENT” all relevant rights to the musical composition titled “BEAT NAME.”
All rights granted under this agreement to the “RECIPIENT” include the ability to distribute, commercially exploit, or otherwise use the subject of this agreement in any form possible.
In consideration, the Recipient agrees to pay THE AUTHOR the amount of $179.99 USD (One hundred seventy-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents).
THE AUTHOR agrees and authorizes the “RECIPIENT” to make any modifications, either independently or through third parties.
Benefits
The Recipient may distribute the Synchronization on digital platforms such as iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, Deezer, Spotify, Google Play, etc.
Use the Synchronization for paid performances/shows.
Use the Synchronization exclusively for commercial purposes.
Include the Synchronization in mixtapes, albums, singles, and compilations.
Create a music video. Terms and Restrictions
This agreement prohibits the Recipient from reselling the beat produced by Sound Streets.
The Recipient acknowledges that Sound Streets retains certain rights to the musical composition. If the Recipient wishes to register the track, they must credit Sound Streets as the author of the instrumental (beat).
The Recipient agrees to credit the producer in all productions and releases, for example: “Music produced by: Sound Streets.”
General Terms and Conditions
The Recipient understands they are responsible for clearing any material used and that THE AUTHOR is not responsible for any misuse of the original material covered by this agreement.
The Recipient acknowledges and agrees that they are only paying for the producer’s production work. The rights granted in this agreement do not allow resale of the beat in any form. The Recipient may edit or alter the length of the track if deemed necessary, provided they hold rights to the beat and do not alter its core sound structure. Changes to the beat are permitted; however, the use of any melody, sound, instrumental, or elements of the original composition in other compositions is not allowed.
Upon delivery of the material, Sound Streets shall have no further obligations to the Recipient and is legally released from any additional responsibility.
